Wall run
Used to get up and over walls higher than head height with speed.
Ez runs at the wall here at a nice gentle pace but just as he reaches the wall, he explodes into movement placing his left foot on the wall at about thigh height.
As the foot is placed, he stamps down on the wall (almost at a 45 degree angle) and pushes his body weight upwards and forwards to prevent kicking away from the wall. |
The kick provides the force to get the height and while on the way up, he reaches out to grab the top of the wall.
While in mid flight, his right leg is already being brought up into position so that he can use it to take the next step. |
The right foot gives enough of an extra kick to compliment the upward momentum from the left kick. |
During the upwards movement, ez's arms take the weight of his body and he pivots around to side vault up.
All done in one fluid movement with no hesitation. |
